THOMAS E. ABEL
LAMONTE-Thomas E. Abel, 81, a former Sedalian, died Wednesday morning at the Wetzal Hospital in Clinton.
He was born in Ohio, son of the late Emma S. and George W. Abel.
A resident of Pettis County for over 30 years, he operated a locksmith shop in Sedalia for 15 years before moving to L:aMonte in 1967.
He is survived by three brothers, M. F. Abel, and Earl L. Abel, both of LaMonte, and A. W. Abel, Kansas City.
His wife, Mildred, and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Sickman Funeral Home in Clinton.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City.
