Clyde was a longtime resident of Rhea County and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Bledsoe, County. He was a retired career Law Enforcement Officer of the Rhea County Sherriff's Department. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carles Ray and Evelyn Henderson, two Brothers, Carles Ray Henderson, Jr., Cleo Thomas Henderson; Sister, Cathy Elaine Henderson. Survivors include; His wife, Elizabeth Clark Henderson of Dayton, two daughters, Linda (Butch) Woody, Pam (Terry) Ashley, all of Evensville; three sons, Winford (Becky) Henderson of Evensville, Mitchell (Kelly) Henderson of Hixson TN; Christopher (Audrey) of Dayton; six brothers, Clay, Carroll, Clifford, Leo, Donald, and Calvin Henderson; seventeen Grandchildren, six Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: August 04, 2014, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friendship Baptist Church, Summer City Road, Pikeville, TN. Funeral Service to be held August 05, 2014, 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church, Summer City Road, Pikeville, TN. Interment will be Tuesday, August 05 2014, Pierce Cemetery, Evensville, TN.
