Deborah Lynn Davis Patterson, age 66, of Henderson, KY, passed away, Thursday, May 31, 2018, at her home under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Davis and a brother, Mike Davis.

Debbie graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She met her love, Bill, in a Bible study group and they were married May 19, 1974. Debbie spent many years doing shoulder-to-shoulder ministry with her husband. They pastored churches in Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi and several in Kentucky, including Cash Creek Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Henderson, and they served five years with the International Mission Board in South Korea, where she taught at the Korean Christian Academy. Her love for the Lord was monumental and she worshiped even in times of pain and distress. Debbie was able to witness to others throughout her illness. Several nurses and doctors said she was the best patient they ever had. Debbie's greatest joy was her family. She was a talented cook and lovingly prepared her family's favorite dishes as a special way to show them love.
