Erica Rochelle Anderson, 17, of Slaughter, died April 14, 2018. She was born May 27, 2000 in Zachary, the daughter of Eric, Sr. and Udetrick (Caines) Anderson. She was a senior at Northeast high school, where she was a member of the dance team. Erica is survived by her parents Eric, Sr. and Udetrick of Slaughter, LA and her sister LaDaja Caines. She also leaves her maternal grandfather, Felton Hamilton, Sr. also of Baker, Louisiana; her paternal grandparents, Emerson (Claudia) Anderson of Baton Rouge, LA and Loretta Anderson of Houston, TX; and his paternal great grandmother, Lula Anderson of Zachary. She is also survived by several aunts; Leticia Anderson, Ureka Caines, Harriett Paynes and Ketra Jones and also several uncles; Emerson (Robyn) Anderson III, Rodrick Anderson, Felton (Ciara) Hamilton, Elton (Erica) Hamilton, Demarcus Milligan; and a host of cousins. Erica is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Lizzie Caines Hamilton; and her paternal great grandfather, Emerson Anderson, Sr. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton in Clinton, LA. The funeral will be held at Greater Philadelphia Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Visitation will be held from 9am-11am and funeral services will immediately follow at 11am.
