Maxine L. Adams, 84, of Neapolis, died Monday, November 26, 2007. Maxine was born August 22, 1923, in Deshler to the late Charles and Inez (Brown) Triggs. Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, A. Everett Adams; three sons, Lester E. (Carole) and William E. Adams and Donald L. (Laura) Triggs Jr.; three daughters, Joyce A. (Bill) Magrum, Mary S. (Rick) Baldwin and Cindy L. (Jeff) Morris; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Laver; brother, Donald L. Triggs Sr. and sister-in-law, Betty Jo Triggs. Two brothers, Norman and Harold Triggs and a granddaughter, Anna Adams, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Adams retired from Bowling Green State University where she was a cook at Kreischer Hall for 15 years. She was a member of the Neapolis Church of Christ and a charter member of the Neapolis Fireman's Auxillary for 54 years. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. in the Wright Funeral Home, Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2007, in the Neapolis Church of Christ with Pastor Tom Bates presiding. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids. Memorials are suggested to the church.
