The Cemetery Committee of the Lake County (IL) Genealogical Society complied a book entitled Libertyville Township Cemetery Inscriptions – Lake County in 1983. The objective was to document inscriptions on headstones. The 101-page compilation is predominately related to Lakeside Cemetery in Libertyville, IL, but does also have some details on St Mary of the Lake Seminary Cemetery, Lake County Poor Farm Cemetery and a cursory description of Ascension Cemetery.

The Committee went row by row through Lakeside Cemetery to record headstones and inscriptions. They used other resources such as sexton records, obituaries, death records, funeral home records, published histories and correspondence to add information beyond the inscriptions. These other resources also provided information on individuals thought to be buried at Lakeside Cemetery but were without a stone/inscription at the time that the information was being compiled. The compilation lists approximately 250 individuals on pages 69-75 thought to be buried at Lakeside Cemetery but without a stone/inscription, but does not offer the specific source that was used.

This particular person's Find a Grave Memorial was set up using this compilation as the source and appears in the pages 69-75 as an individual buried at Lakeside Cemetery without a stone/inscription at the time that the project was done. If any other more specific sources have been found, or provided but another contributor, they will be noted here.
