Greenville Ralph F.E. Sutton, 91, husband of Sarah Frances Childers Sutton, died October 14, 2013. Born in Rugby, England, he was the son of the late Ralph Frederick and Gladys Humphries Sutton. Mr. Sutton was retired from Carolina Rubber Rolls and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the British Army having served during World War II. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Deborah Dunn and Elizabeth Hayes both of Taylors; a son, Ralph Michael Sutton of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Lauren Frances, Casey Ann and Jesse Douglas; two great grandchildren, Caleb Michael and Lexis Marie; three brothers, Noel, Alfred and Victor Sutton all of Coventry, England; a sister, Irene Armstrong of Coventry, England; and special niece, Hazel Ruffles and husband, John, of Great Bentley, England. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Sutton; a sister, Iris Reay and husband, Jack; a brother, Frederick Sutton; and son-in-law, Glenn Dunn. Graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
