William Elwood Ford, 69, of 2012 Kensington street, an employe of the Bethlehem Steel Company for thirty-five years, died early this morning at a local hospital. He was a member of Perseverance Lodge, No. 183, I. O. O. F., and P. O. S. of A. Lodge, No. 390, Millersburg.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella M. Ford; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde F. Snyder; five brothers, John Ford, Lakeland, Fla.; George Ford, Sunbury; Benjamin Ford, Penbrook, and James and Jacob Ford, Harrisburg; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Foltz of Enhaut, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 at the residence with the Rev. S. C. Hoover, pastor of the Second Reformed Church, assisted by the Rev. Harry N. Bassler, former pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Oberlin Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence Monday evening after 7 o'clock.
