MORTON – Imo L. Reich, 82 of Morton, passed away Wed. May 30, 2018, at Kindred Hospital in Peoria.
Imo was born Nov. 24, 1935, in Morton, to Earl and Beulah (Stephens) Dully. She married Leo Reich on June 3, 1955 in Morton.
Surviving are her husband, Leo of Morton; one daughter, Tonya (Clayton) Keil of East Peoria; one granddaughter, Tara (Matt) Schrader and great-granddaughter, Isabella Schrader, both of Spring Bay, Ill.; and one step-granddaughter, Mackenzi Keil of Greenwood, Ind. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty Padgett of Morton and Glenda Aberle of Washington.
Imo was preceded in death by three sisters, Ella Fern Maston, Shirley Farmer and Lois Wells.
After graduating from Morton High School in 1955, she began working at Caterpillar, Inc. in 1956, where she worked for 13 years in the accounting department at the Parts Distribution Center in Morton. She then worked as a clerk at Ben Franklin in Morton for 13 years and later at Farm & Fleet in Morton for 12 years, retiring in 1993.
Imo was a member of United Methodist Church in Morton. Her passion for quilting baby blankets never went unnoticed. She thoroughly enjoyed fishing with her husband.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wed. June 6, 2018 at Roberts Cemetery in Morton, officiated by Rev. Bob and Rev. Debbie Martin.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
