Steve Morris, age 61, of Independence, MO, passed away on May 25, 2018. Visitation at 1PM on Wed., May 30, at Floral Hills Funeral Home with funeral at 2PM. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Steve was preceded in death by his sister Stephanie Morris; grandparents Orton and Marguerite Lawson and step-father Sam W. McDowell.
He is survived by his mother Janice McDowell; father Donald Morris; wife Beulah Morris; children Ambra Morris, April Morris, Aimee Morris, Alexa Beaverson, Edmond Sweeney, Richard Sweeney; brothers and sister Sam McDowell, David McDowell, Paul McDowell, Mark McDowell, Jenice Webster; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Steve worked for AB May as an HVAC technician for 8 years. He was devoted to caring for his clients and everyone he met.
Steve attended Eastside Baptist church.
