His son was born in 1981 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. In 1982, he returned to Junction City and worked for many years at Coors Distributing. When he left Coors, he opened/owned Alan’s Body Shop. He never saw a stranger and was known for his love of family, kindness, great smile, and quick whit. He worked hard his entire life to provide for those he loved. He had a generous heart. He recently purchased his “perfect” home in Prairie Village, KS right across from the tennis courts. He loved his tennis and played as much as possible. He was extremely proud of his son and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching his older granddaughter play volleyball and participate in her dance team at Indian Trail Middle School.
