Claudia M. Davis, "Micki", 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Tulsa, OK.

Micki was born on January 15, 1950 in DeRidder, Louisiana to her parents, Pete and Louise Davis. She graduated from Hornbeck High School in 1968. She met and married the love of her life, James Spurgeon Davis. They raised their family in Lumberton, Texas. Micki and her family were very active in the United Pentecostal Church of Lumberton assisting with the music ministry and fundraising. She was instrumental in forming a Sunday School bus route as she taught Sunday School for many years to everyone from children to her 70s to Heaven group. After her husband's retirement, Micki and her family moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas where they ran a country music theater for several years and helped establish a home missions church in the area. Micki instilled in her children the importance of family values and how to put others first. During the holiday times, she took her family to various shelters and mission organizations where they practiced what they preached by serving meals to those in need.

Micki and her husband made Shidler their final home in 1996. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed accounting. Micki enjoyed traveling, reading, crafts and prepared wonderful meals for family and friends. She enjoyed attending church at Ponca City Assembly of God and taught her children and grandchildren about the love of God. She had a tremendous love for her family and there was nothing more she'd rather do than to sit and visit with them, especially her grandkids.

Micki is survived by her daughters, Tanya Lynn Davis of Shidler and Julie Kristy Johnson and husband Bobby of Shidler, son, James Walter Davis and wife Tammy of Wichita, Kansas, grandchildren, Sierra Johnson, Chloé Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Ty Johnson, Rose Davis, Carson Davis, Ella Davis, sister, Wanda Davis of Leesville, LA, sister-in-law, Joyce Davis of Shidler, brother-in-law, Bob Brown of Shidler, OK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, sister, Artie Sue Knippers, and an infant sister, Carolyn Davis.
