James enjoyed wood crafts, gardening, yardwork, and spending time with his loving family.
James was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather; brothers Jack Lashley, Ted Lashley, and Leonard Jr. Lashley; one sister, Janice Freeman.
Services are at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 1, 2018, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
