He was employed at Pangborn's for 31 years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Friendship Men's Bible Class. He was a member of Friendship Lodge No. 84 AF&AM, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon No. 95, the Southern Engineering Society, the Eagles Inc. No. 694, and the West End Senior Citizens Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel E. Lidie Eyler; son, Lloyd C. Eyler Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Madeline Buchanan, Blue Ridge Summit; and Mrs. Helen Potts, Waynesboro; one step-brother, Ira Armsparger, Chambersburg; and two grandchildren.
Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
