Born and raised in South Boston, where she lived for fifty years, she was also a resident of Quincy for many years.
She was an over thirty year duration employee of the U.S. Postal Service as a Regular Part-Time employee and a proud member of the Clerks and Mail Handlerss Unions. After her husbands retirement, Mary and he traveled extensively to places including Canada, Europe, Australia as well as a wonderful trip to Israel with her daughter. When her youngest daughter went off to college, Mary returned to school part-time attending the University of Massachusetts/ Harbor Campus for thirteen years. Many of her courses were taken for the learning and pleasure of them, but she ended up with two Bachelors Degrees.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, James of fifty-five years.
