She was born November 9, 1904, a daughter of Melvin Orson Mary Elnora Young Miner. She married Lt. Col. Reed Nelson Colvin June 5, 1933 in San Diego, California. He died in 1974.
She was raised in Vineyard. She was a graduate of Brigham Young University. She was an elementary school teacher and taught in Utah and Emery County schools as a young woman. Later in life she taught in Ogden. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, August 29, at 11 A.M. in the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 600 East 800 North in Orem. Friends attended a Viewing on Monday from 7 to 9 P.M. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M. Prior To The Services at the Funeral Home.
Graveside Services followed at the Provo City Cemetery where she was buried.
