Paul L. Warner, 84, of Casey, IL passed away on May 29, 2018 at Brookstone Estates of Charleston, IL.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday June 1, 2018 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral chapel. There will be a visitation from 9:00 to service time on Friday. Burial will be in the Jewett Cemetery.

Paul was born on January 25, 1934 in Cumberland County to Glen and Juanita (Williams) Warner. He married Wilma Hurst on June 3, 1955 and she preceded him. Surviving is his son Wyatt Warner of Mattoon; daughter Julie (Jeff) Short of Newton; brother Russell Warner of Florida; and sister Pat “Patsy” Billingsly of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Raymond; sister Mary Lee Warner; and one granddaughter Kyra Sidwell.

Paul was a farmer and a mechanic who worked at John Deere and Hickman Ford. He also worked in the oil field. Paul loved to spend his time fishing and hunting.
