Mrs. Elsie O. Bigler, 85, First St., Powhatan, died Sunday at her home.
She was born in Switzer Township, Ohio, June 14, 1888, a daughter of the late Henry and Evaline Dangel Roth.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Powhatan, the Women's Association of the Church, and was a charter member and past matron of Captina Chapter 489 Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence A. Bigler; two sons, Henry M. and Ray, bot of Powhatan Point; one daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Snively of Powhatan; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Krebs of Columbus and Miss Florence Roth of Youngstown; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild. A son, Paul, preceded her in death.
Friends will be received at the Gibson-Bauknecht Funeral Home, Powhatan, after 7 p.m. tonight. Services will be Thursday at the funeral home with burial in Powhatan Cemetery. Easter Star services Wednesday night at the funeral home.
