Doris married Lyle Dunn on December 23, 1971 and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1995. Doris also worked at Russell Stovers in Abilene and at a daycare in Clay Center. She thought of Lyle's side of the family as her family too and they were all very special to her. She enjoyed eating out with her relatives, friends, and the regular widow groups. Doris was a caring person and loved people very much.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and Sunday School treasurer. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and NARFE. She volunteered for the Lighthouse for Christ, Meals on Wheels and Friendship Meals.
She is also preceded in death by parents, son, Douglas Dunn, daughter, Judy Gilkes, and 2 sisters.

Daughter: Jean and husband Robert Anderson, of Auburn, Kansas
8 Grandchildren: Gregory Dunn, Scott (Michelle) Dunn, Ashley (Jason) Beswick, Roger Webster, Danny Webster, Christine (Jeff) Horst, Judith Anderson, and Jacob Anderson.
15 Great Grandchildren: Randi, Damon, Garrett, Libby, Greden, Rylee, Wyatt, Carter, Jovey, Cara, Justin, Roger III, Justin, Douglas and Amber.
4 Great Great Grandchildren: Anthony, Trystan, Madison, Maleigh
