James Autry Bingham, 74, of Gatlinburg passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at his home.
He was a member of Hills Creek Baptist Church. James retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching old westerns, sitting on the porch, and listening to Hank Williams and bluegrass music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Russell Bingham; son, David Bingham; and brother, Tommy Bingham.
James is survived by his loving wife, Vernie Bingham; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Toni Bingham, Terry and Debbie Bingham, Kevin and Katrina Bingham; daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Charlie Johnson, Katie and Landon Goff; grandchildren, Samantha, Hannah, Brendan, Jason, Justin, Jonathan, Jessica, Nick, Shawna, C.J., Chloe, Lilly, Piper, Carson, Hunter, Ayden, and Micah; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Carter, Hannah, David, and Sophia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Wilma, Ronnie and Shirley, Jay and Jennifer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ellen and Charlie, Mary Etta, Lynn Rita, Jacque and Richard, Carol and Tom; special friends, Jim Kermie and Lorraine, Charlotte Cox, and the Starnes Family; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
