Lucie Marie Chavanne was born in Belgium and lived in Greater Kansas City for 70 years. She made her home at 1920 Tauromee Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. Mrs. Lucie Marie Swegel, age 84, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 1983, at Bethany Medical Center. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and its Go Getters Senior Citizens Club.
She left three sons, Donald Swegel of Kansas City, Kan., John Swegel of Metairie, La., and George Swegel of La Crosse, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Logsdon of Washington D.C. and Mrs. Frances Mulich of Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Miss Julia Chavanne, of Chicago; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends called at the Reising Chapel, where the Rosary was prayed. The Funeral Liturgy was cerebrated at Christ the King Church in Kansas City, Kansas.
