Died at an Alva Convalescent home at age of 83. Mr and Mrs Casady came from eastern OK in 1904 and homesteaded a mile and a half north of the present site of Turpin. Mr Casady died in 1911. Mrs Casady continued to live on the farm until her health began to fail 10 years ago. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by sons Lee of Liberal and Roy of Turpin, daughters Mrs Lee Swan and Mrs Henry Lubbers, both of Libleral.
Funeral services were conducted at the Turpin Methodist Church.
