She was the daughter of Delmer Guy and Lida Irene(Caldwell) Smith. she married Maxwell Bruce Harvey and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Gross and Lavonna D. Cox both of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Nicholas Gross, Brooke Gross, Jacob Cox, Jordan Cox, and Taylor Cox; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie(Norilynn)Smith of Edinburgh, Indiana, Harold(Rotchell)Smith of Ocala, Florida, Ernie(Judy)Smith of Taylorsville, Indiana, and Freddie(Brenda) Smith of Edinburgh, Indiana, and former husband, Lonnie H. Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Laneisha Y. Burton, and brother, James Smith.
She was a member of Who-so-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana.
She formerly owned Little Fellas Restaurant in Edinburgh and waitressed in area restaurants.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, surfing the computer, gardening and crocheting.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 by Reverend Lewis Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh.
Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 at the church and from noon until time of service.
Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
