Alice J. Casto, 67, of Chesapeake, Virginia, formerly of St. Albans, went to be with the Lord, May 26, 2018. She was born January 3, 1951, in Charleston, the daughter of Leon and Maxine Dawson Nedeff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Nedeff George. Alice was a member of Southridge Church of God and lived a life dedicated to serving the Lord. Her happiness came from being with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Lee Casto Jr.; son, Mark Casto and his wife, Tonya, of Hurricane; daughter, Betsy Duffy and her husband, Eric, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Kyle Casto, Lauren Casto, Nick Duffy, Andrew Duffy and Sami Duffy; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Alice's life will be noon, Saturday, June 2, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home. Private family burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
