Flora Beason Kitchens, 85, went to meet her Savior, on April 29, 2006, at Boulder Park Terrace, in Charlevoix, Mich.

At her request, her body was cremated and her ashes will be buried by her husband at a graveside memorial service May 19, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Beason Grove Cemetery with Bobby Beason officiating.

She is survived by daughter, Annie Austin; daughter Barbara Fels and son-in-law, Jack Fels; grandchildren, Joey Letson, Travis Letson and his family, of Heflin, Matthew Taylor, of Heflin, Patty Williams and family, of Fairbanks, Alaska, Lori Silva and her family, of Charlevoix, Bill Fels and his family, of Charlevoix, and Michael Fels and his family of Mebane, N.C.; sisters, Sue McFeron, of Heflin and Gladys Snow and her family, of Heflin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter Kitchens; sisters, Lela Taylor and Velma Stephens; and three brothers, Bill Beason, Ben Beason and Dewey Beason.
