HELEN SUE HARVEL MCDANIEL, age 77 of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018 at her residence. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Howard and Beulah Harvel; sister, Betty-Jo Harvel all of Morristown; brother, Charles Harvel of Cleveland, OH and nephew, Garland Cureton.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Coy E. McDaniel of Bean Station; daughters, Melissa (Virgil) Everhart, and Dr. Staci (Scott) Boruff of Morristown; grandchildren, Suzanne Everhart and Joshua Everhart (and fiancé Madison Denton) of Morristown; brother, C.H. (Kate) Harvel of Morristown; sister, Barbara Dilly of Morristown; sisters-in-law, Helen McDaniel and Myrtle Lamb of Bean Station; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends; and special cousins, Mary Jo Daniels and Jeraldine Norton.

Special thanks to Avalon Hospice for all of their assistance during Mom’s sickness. Special thanks to Pam Byrd for her help. Also, special thanks to her nurse, Kathy Gilliam and neighbor, Nancy Hazeltine West for always cheering her up. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bobby Helton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
