Services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Moore Hattiesburg Chapel followed by burial in Highland Cemetery.
Bro. Walters was a member of Water Oak Baptist Church in Wayne County. He was a Baptist minister and also a school bus driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Lofton and L.D. Walters and his parents-in-law, Rose Lee and Anderson Summers.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy Walters of Petal; two daughters, Teresa (Chris) Burgess of Hattiesburg and Tina McDonald of Petal; one son, Melvin Walters of Hattiesburg; six grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Burgess, Will Burgess, Dalton McDonald, Dylyn McDonald, Johnathan Barnett, and April Walters; one sister, Ruby Hughes of Hattiesburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
