Howard Edgerton

Funeral services for Howard W. Edgerton, 71, of 108 Hope Ave., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Greenleaf Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Guiles officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.

Mr. Edgerton, who died yesterday after a short illness, was a life resident of Syracuse and a retired stationary engineer for Hotel Onondaga.

He was a member of the LaFayette Avenue Methodist Church and a former member of the Central City Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva J. Edgerton: a son, Howard E. Edgerton; a brother, Everett Edgerton; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Haynes and Mrs. Carl Anderson; three grandchildren, Mrs. Stewart Hill, Mrs. Paul Palmeter and Robert Edgerton, and four great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
