Margaret A. (nee O'Donnell) Brady, fortified with the sacrament of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on May 28, 2018. Margaret was born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 11, 1922, to her loving parents, Patrick J. and Mary Ellen (nee Kelly) O'Donnell.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Brady; her parents, Mary Ellen and Patrick J. O'Donnell; her siblings, Patrick, Charles, Mary Ellen Ferrell, Cornelius, and John W. O'Donnell; and her great-grandson, Aiden Michael.


She is survived by her loving sister, Jackie Janson. Adored Mother to Mary (Mike) Clayton, Robert M. (Angela Conway) Brady, Edward Brady, Patricia (Paul) Bauer, Daniel (Mamie) Brady, Colleen (Dennis) Bynum, Tracy M. Brady (Al Puknat). Dear Grandmother to Wesley (Mara) Clayton, Meredith (Louis) Gendry, Tracy L. Brady, Jamie Brady, Nichole Brady, Michelle Whitener, Michelle Brady, Linda Bauer, Madeline Bauer, William Bauer, Sarah Wren, Evan Wren, Brian (Erica) Brady, Danielle Brady, Patrick Bynum, and Chelsea Booker (Carlos) Alex Booker. Dear Great Grandmother to Ella Clayton, Lucy Clayton, Will Clayton, Eloïse Gendry, Achilles Gendry, Brian Brady Jr., Amya Brady, Rian Brady, Brielle Brady, Brison Brady, Danni Brady, Alyssa Brady, Aiden Brady, Austin Brady, Nicole Whitener, Justin Whitener, Adeline Lehr, Brady Lehr. Dear G-Great Grandmother to Kaiya Sage Mason:.


Margaret was an "adoptive" mother and special friend to Greenbaylum Walker, Timothy Tumbrink, Stan Burkett, Gerald Leyshock, Herbert Levy, Gail Simmons, Louise Resmann, Rhonda Whitmore Garbett, Blu Brady, her beloved pet Ernie (who never left her side), and many, many more.


A special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Sewing and staff for their consistent, personable, and outstanding patient care over the years. Most recently, with all the hard work involved in getting Marge on that plane to Maui, we almost made it.


Thank you to all the employees at Heartland Hospice.


Bill Hoffman, a very special and dedicated RN, treated our mother with great dignity and care at all hours of the day and night.


Jim Crawford, Hospice Clergy, who so elegantly shared the word of God sitting right next to her side.


Candice Johnson, Hospice RN, helped us all comfortably transition on the last road of the journey, spiritually and emotionally.


Special thanks to Father Michael from Epiphany Church for the Blessed Sacrament Anointing of the Sick.
