Nancy Jean Greffe, 74, formerly of Edinburg, passed away at 10:30p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Heritage Manor in Pana. She was born on January 12, 1944, the daughter of Ronald Gene and Frances (Hooper) Greffe. Nancy graduated from Edinburg High School with the class of 1962. She went on to work at Horace Mann Insurance for over 40 years, retiring as a Financial Control Specialist. Nancy loved to read and crochet and was an avid NASCAR fan. She was also a dog lover and cared for many throughout the years.

She is survived by her sisters: Becky C. Blount of Taylorville and Kathy L. McGee of Aurora, Colorado; nieces and nephew: Dyanne Skinner (Lee) of Taylorville, Tony McGee (Lisa), and Mehgan McGee both of Aurora, Colorado; great nieces and nephews: Hanna Van Dorn (Joe) of Bloomington, Trey Buckley and Kole Buckley both of Taylorville, and Hailey McGee of Aurora, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew: Douglas Blount; and brother-in-law: Gary McGee.

A memorial service for Nancy will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the Bethel Baptist Church in Sharpsburg with Ron Spears officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery following the service. Memorials may be left to the Loving Arms Crisis Pregnancy Center in Taylorville.
