Mattie Pearl Wilson, age 83 of Oliver Springs, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Diversicare of Oak Ridge.
She was born on April 27, 1935 on Windrock Mountain.
Mattie was raised on the farm where she spent her younger years working.
She was the daughter of the late Calvin Patterson and Martha Ann Byrge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Bill Wilson; sister, Nancy Patterson; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Premier Sharp Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Morgan and Rev. Gene Hunter officiating.
Burial will be at Oliver Springs Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
