She joyfully attended to any needs of the church and its members. She was a graduate of Mannington High School, Class of 1956, and loved and appreciated her classmates and their concern for her in recent years. She was also the eldest grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. S.N. Elliott.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her three children and their spouses, Susan (Roger) Wyckoff, Morgantown, Ron Lee (Mary Lynn) Powell Jr. and Jason (April) Powell, all of Mannington; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Macanea, Autumn, Mandi, Yvonne, Lillie, Nicholas and Clara; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Desire, Ella, Reese, Maya, Lola and Aliyah; two sisters, Linda (Tom) West, Mannington and Brenda Wilson, Moundsville; two brothers, Paul McClain, Indiana and William (Gloria) McClain, Rivesville; special cousins, Ila Rose Barnes and Alice June Ross; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thanks to their extended family of caregivers, Scott, Erica, Mikai, Erica, Jacob, Kim, Donna and Suzanne and their special angels from Hospice: Becca, Staci, Carrie and Ryan.
