Eleanor L. (Davis) Dickinson, 81, of Enfield, beloved wife of Harold Dickinson, departed this life on Tuesday, (December 20, 2005) at Riverside Health Care Center in East Hartford. Eleanor was born on February 1, 1924 in Manchester, daughter of the late Clyde and Alma (Mueller) Davis.

Eleanor was a graduate of Rockville High School class of 1942. On January 15, 1948 she married Harold Dickinson and they spent 57 years of loving marriage together. Eleanor worked for many years for First National Stores as the private secretary to the advertising manager. She has been a devoted citizen of Enfield since 1959. Eleanor was also a member of the D.A.V. National Auxiliary in Enfield.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, Harold of Enfield, and their one daughter Sherry A. DiSarro and her husband James of Ellington; two grandsons: Brian DiSarro of Iowa City, IA and David DiSarro of Ellington and a brother, William Davis of Vernon.

Interment in Hazardville Cemetery in Enfield.
