Rev. Joseph Brice Bisby, Sr was born to Charles Elliott Bisby and Mary Louella "Smith" Bisby in Houston, Texas. He was on the Board of Trustee's at Glendale Cemetery until he passed away. (This cemetery is also known as Harris Family Cemetery or the Old Harrisburg Cemetery and it's upkeep and care was very important to him). He is buried with his Aunt "Mamie" Mary Ellen Bisby McCurry, (his father's sister) and her husband Stanley Arthur McCurry and his grandparents Elliott Hiram Bisby and Susan Arwilda Sesler Bisby. He was a loving husband to Dorothy Dee Harriss Bisby and wonderful father to Joseph Brice Bisby,Jr, Mary DeeAnn Bisby Gabro, Stephen Clark Bisby, Martha Suzanne Bisby Caporusso, and his ten grandchildren. He served his Lord as an excellent Pastor, Teacher, Missionary with his wife and family in Zimbabwe Africa. He served as Pastor at numerous United Methodist churches in Texas. He was loved by all he touched and will be loved and remembered by all that knew him.
