Donald J. Powell, 47, passed away suddenly from an acute asthma attack on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at his residence in Va Beach. He was born in Norfolk, May 10, 1959 the son of the late Henry and Myrtle Powell. He was a member of Norview United Methodist Church and attended Nimmo United Methodist Church. Donald and his wife established their own business for which he was dedicated and proud. Donald was passionately loved by his wife Ann with whom he shared his life with for twenty seven years. He is also survived by two loving sisters, Myrna Brooks and her husband Charles of Virginia Beach and Bonnie Deibler and her husband Kevin of Newport News; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and too many friends to mention. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 2:30 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. The Reverend John Shappel will officiate. Burial will be in the Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at Anni. [email protected]
