Juanita spent her early years on Scotts Ridge. She was a graduate of Salem-Liberty High School in 1945. She was employed by Richardson Printing and was a cook at Marietta Bible College and Marietta Christian School. She loved to entertain family and friends. Her hobby was baking, canning and gardening.
She was a member of Evergreen Bible Church in Williamstown, WV, was a 60 years member of the Pleasant Ridge-Tunnel W.C.T. U., and was a member and past matron of Aurelius Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
She was married to Paul Hall on May 24, 1948, at Scotts Ridge Methodist Church. After her marriage she lived in Whipple for 58 years. Juanita is survived by her sons: Perry (Vickie) Hall of Williamstown and Jerry (Cindy) Hall of Dover, OH; her grandchildren: Jared (Tammy) Hall, Adam (Crystal) Hall, Kristen (Randy) Tobe, Stacia (Victor) Gonzalez and Sarah (Aaron) Coontz; great grandchildren: Chelsea Hall, Corrine Hall, Rylee Hall, Kennedy Hall, Jasmine Gonzalez, Gabriel Gonzalez, Luna Gonzalez and Scarlett Tobe. She is also survived by her brother John (JoAnne) Scott and several nieces, nephews and dear friends Wilda Knowlton and Kris Spurgeon her caretaker for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Hall, sister Eloise Hall, brothers, Walter Scott and Elmer Scott.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at The Pines for the excellent care she received.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (May 30) at 11:00 am at Evergreen Bible Church with Pastor Robert Smith officiating. Family will greet friends at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3 until 6 and at the church one hour before the service. Interment will be in Salem Township Cemetery.
