Mary was born, July 29, 1954 and died April 14, 2007 at her home of carbon monoxide as a result of a fire that also claimed the life of her husband, Larry Wagner.
Her parents, James and Margaret Powell and brother Wayne preceded her in death.
She is survived by twin sons, Matthew Evan and Jason Scott Pace; daughter, Jennifer Nicole Strother; brother, Larry Powell; several nieces and nephews; stepchildren Jason Wagner and Crystal Wagner Key; and a large extended family that she loved dearly.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home on West Nine Mile Road. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 20, 2007 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
EASTERN GATE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME will be handling all arrangements.

Ensley fire victims identified
From staff reports
Officials today released the identities of two people killed in a weekend fire.
The Escambia Sheriff's Office identified the victims as Lawrence Anthony Wagner, 48, and Mary Ruth Wagner, 52.
Fire swept through a mobile home in the 300 block of Vera Lane in Ensley early Saturday morning, killing the victims.
The office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
