Timothy “Tim” Lee Haney age 60 of Fairfield, passed away, Friday, May 25, 2018, at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the family with cards sent to Katlyn Haney, 903 Fairview Drive, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.
Tim was born February 20, 1958, in Fairfield to Merle and Patricia (Hunt) Haney. He married Tammie Bertsch on May 23, 1981, and they later divorced.
Tim worked at Falco in the foundry and Tennessee Aluminum while living in Tennessee for 14 years. He loved being outside boating, fishing and camping. Some of his other interests were watching NASCAR, enjoyed his westerns & weather channel and his dog, Roxie. He will be missed by those who called him dad, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Left to share Tim’s memories are his daughter, Katlyn Haney of Fairfield; one grandchild, Remi Haney of Fairfield; Tammie Haney of Fairfield; his parents, Merle and Patricia Haney of Fairfield; 3 siblings, MariAnn (John) Weissheier of Fairfield, Pam (Dane) Long of Morristown, TN and Terry Haney of Fairfield; nieces & nephews, Michelle Rauscher, Malinda Barnes, Merlin Weissheier and Brian Haney; and father-in-law, Jim (Belinda) Bertsch.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth & Tom Hunt and McKinley and Lorenia Haney; and mother-in-law, Marlyn Bertsch.
