Albert Charles was the son of Thomas P and Hattie S (Whippo) McCormick. He enlisted in the Amry during WWI and was a Sgt. with the 14th Co., 3rd Air Service Mech serving in France. Albert shipped out to France on July 9, 1918 and returned on June 25, 1919. While in France he contracted tuberculosis. He died in a Los Angeles, CA, tuberculosis sanitarium.
