Funeral services for Ralph "Randy" May, 48, a resident of Davenport, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, in the All Faith Chapel at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Reynolds officiating. Burial will take place in the Walcott Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Randy died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at his residence in Davenport.
Ralph Randal May was born June 29, 1958, in Davenport, the son of Ralph O. and Anita M. (Way) May. He was married to Tracy Fuhr on March 2, 1992. They shared over 15 years of memories together.
Randy was employed by Sears Manufacturing, and previously Titan Wheel in Walcott for many years. He loved fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, and was a true outdoorsman. He also spent a lot of time at the Putnam Museum with his best friend, Dave Erbst. Randy was also very talented and enjoyed drawing up blue prints of dream houses for himself and relatives. He loved his grandchildren ever so much and his family.

Randy is survived by his wife, Tracy Fuhr-May; daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Ryan Lantau, Sr., and stepdaughter, Tammy Eberline, all of Davenport; grandchildren, Joseph Powell, Jessica Powell, Ryan Lantau, Jr., Jonathan Powell, and Eric Lantau; sisters, Teddy Schillig, Davenport, Lonnie (Robert "Donnie") Brinkley, Walcott, and Sherri (Jack) Bell, Stockton; a brother, Patrick (Melinda) Hutchison, Silvis; a special aunt and uncle, Midge (Howard) Shaw; his best friend, Dave Erbst; and sisters -in-law and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Guy Girot, Mike and Marsha Fuhr, and Jon-Edward Marion.
