Virginia Lee Little, 90, passed away on May 18, 2018, at Signature Healthcare in Terre Haute. She was born March 8, 1928 in Terre Haute, to Herbert Hecklesberg and Beulah Iola Cavalt Hecklesberg.
She was married to Thomas D. Little on Nov. 23, 1946, in Terre Haute. They were married for 41 years until his death in 1987.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Thomas D. Little II; sister, Rose Marie Frischman; brothers, Richard Hecklesberg and Earl Hecklesberg; and grandson, Brandon Nally.
Virginia is survived by daughter, Sandy Papero (John) of Downey, Calif.; son, Vince Little (Cindy) of Terre Haute; brothers, James Hecklesberg and Dennis Hecklesberg, both of California and Kenneth Hecklesberg (Linda) of Nebraska; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Virginia graduated from the former State High School in Terre Haute. She worked at General Telephone, Terre Haute Housing Authority, and for her husband's construction company for many years. Above all she was a devoted homemaker who always supported and loved her family dearly.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
