Tom was born in Sayre, Oklahoma to George and Mae Stevenson. He was the youngest of four children. Tom entered the Army at 17 and served for two years. He met his life partner, Freda Stevenson, and during their 45 years together they raised a blended family of four children. His step-daughter, Laura Anway, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Stevenson-Tomsha, his step son Frank Cowell, and his step daughter and her husband, Cindy and Lucky Anway.
Tom worked for Conoco-Phillips for over 30 years. Tom is mourned by his entire family including 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service for Tom on Saturday May 19 at Hosselkus Chapel at 1 Rolph Park Dr. in Crockett. Services at 11:30am.
