Scott H. Campbell, long time Baytown resident passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2018. He was much loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. Scott was born on October 5, 1962 to his parents Johnnie and Nancy Wilson Campbell in Baytown, Texas. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1981. He went on to earn his Associate of Applied Science in Business Web Development in May 2015 from Lee College. Scott began his career working in the IT department of Citizen's Bank and Trust now Amegy Bank of Texas and completed 35 years of loyal service at the time of his death. He became a member of Weight Watchers in 2010; as he achieved his goal of losing 170 lbs and maintaining his optimum weight for eight years was a lifetime member. After his weight loss, Scott became very active in outdoor activities such as camping, biking, hiking, and scuba diving. He was member of the Bayou City Outdoors Club and rode the MS 150 numerous times. He participated in 5K runs, camping trips and kayaking with his friends from BCO. Scott loved life and was a very devoted son, brother, uncle, friend and one who was always willing to help. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie V. Campbell, his grandparents E.C. and Madie Campbell of Baytown; and John Huffaker and Edith Wilson of La Porte. He is survived by his mother Nancy Wilson Campbell of Baytown; his uncle and aunt Meredith and Dodie Wilson of College Station; his brother and sister-in-law Mike and Kim Campbell of Baytown; nephew Cameron Campbell and his wife Sulia Campbell and great nieces Emali, Caelin and Erynn Campbell of Baytown; niece Katie Campbell Buras and her husband Jack Buras and great nephew Jonathan Buras of La Porte; and numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society can be made in Scott's name.
