Brenda Lee Bowen, age 71, of Atlantic Beach, Florida passed away May 21, 2018 at her residence with her living family by her side. She was born October 2, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia to Henry Clay Jones, Sr. and Miriam Peel Jones.
Brenda was a lifelong resident of Atlantic Beach. She enjoyed dancing, country music and traveling to the mountains. More than anything Brenda dearly loved her family.
Brenda is predeceased by her father, Henry Clay “Hank” Jones, Sr. Brenda is survived by her mother, Miriam Peel Jones of Atlantic Beach, FL; daughter, Diana & Michael Berry of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Henry Clay Jones, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Christopher, Justin and Joshua Brooks; great grandchildren, Jasmine, Dylan and Gloria Brooks; sister in heart, Carolyn Sanders; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Brenda’s life will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Beaches Memorial Park with Pastor Michael Easter officiating. Interment will follow at Beaches Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The arrangements are under the care and direction of V. TODD FERREIRA FUNERAL SERVICES at Beaches Memorial Park, 1500 Main Street, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233.
