Diana Lee Richard, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, May 22 nd after a courageous battle with cancer.

Diana was born in Chicago on July 9, 1943 to Grace and Clarence Willert who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by son, Reed Hornung and daughter, Beth Richard.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Richard; sons, Ryan Hornung (Cathy), Russell Hornung (Ally), and Robert Richard; 7 grand children; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Joan Bloethner and Janice Steek; and brother, Lee Willert. Diana loved country western couples & line dancing. For the last 6 years she volunteered with “Mobile Meals”, delivering food to shut-ins. Diana was a talented gardener and a creative artist who painted concrete lawn ornaments, transforming concrete animals into life-like figures.

The family will receive friends 3:00-7:30 pm, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 7:30 pm.
