Brenda Joyce Ray of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Bentonville, AR. She was 72.
Brenda was born February 16, 1946 in Miami, OK to Archie and Joyce (Anderson) Davis. She had lived in Picher, Miami and Quapaw most of her life. She graduated from Picher High School Class of 1964. She had worked in the floral industry over 30 years working at Duff’s Miami Floral, Sunkissed Floral and Ann’s Floral in Miami.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Joseph “Butch” Ray of the home, 2 sons Daniel Joseph Ray of Washington, OK and Darin Christopher Ray and wife Lindsey of Rogers, AR, her daughter Danica Ray Acosta and husband Marcelino of Bentonville, AR, 4 sisters Nancy Joann Armstrong of Chetopa, KS, Glenda Hardin of Salem, OR, Sharon Testerman of Cadiz, KY and Marcia Stallsworth Davis of Bixby, OK and 4 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
