SANTAN - Richard Perry Allison, 51, died Nov. 25, 2008 at Gilbert Mercy Hospital.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at Stotonic Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Irving Terry officiating. Burial will be in Lower Santan Cemetery.

Mr. Allison was born June 14, 1957 in Sacaton. He attended Iron Workers training in Chicago and was a metal worker. He was a former member of the Gila River Fire Department. He was known for helping people and enjoyed yard work, beading, carpentry, walking and running.

Survivors include three sisters, Carol Ann Stewart of Sacaton, LaQuinta O. Allison of Stotonic and Tanya Allison of Santan, and two brothers, Gerald L. Allison of The Dalles, Ore., and Jerriel Allison of Santan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion R. and Gerald L. Allison Sr.; a brother, Rodney Allison; and a sister, Dawn Allison.
