A funeral service was June 20 at New Covenant Fellowship in Larkspur. Interment will follow in Franktown Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Ralph will officiate. Honors were performed by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and The Franktown Fire Department.
Raymond Louis Anderson was born Jan. 15, 1935, in Castle Rock, the son of Louis Benjamin and Mildred (Flierl) Anderson. Dutch was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On May 18, 1957, he married Betty Lou Gariner in Palmer Lake. Dutch was a founding member of the Franktown Volunteer Fire Department and, as fate would have it, the departments first call was to a fire at his home. He was a former 4-H leader, Douglas County Sheriff Posse member, Eagles and Masonic Lodge. For Dutch, construction was his living, but ranching was his love.
Dutch is survived by his wife, Betty; children Dennie Anderson and his wife, Laurie, of Larkpsur, Monty Anderson and his wife, Denise, of Castle Rock, and Dink Anderson and his wife, Kristi, of Larkspur; grandchildren Ladd, Bobbie Jo, Cole, Amber, Heather, Hope and Seth; great grandchildren Jaykob, Hannah, Malachi, Trinity, Rowdi, Raven, Kody and Brayden; sisters and brothers Ester Carlson and her husband, Bill, of Center, Janet Garrett and her husband, Pat, of Ignacio, Ed Anderson and his wife, the late Shirley, of Center, PeeWee Anderson and his wife, Brenda, of Del Norte, and Dan Anderson of Center.
Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Funeral Home, Castle Rock, handled arrangements.
