A graduate of Maine East High School in 1964. Larry had lived in Hanover Park for 56 years. After starting work at Dor-O-Matic as a teenager, he went on to receive his Degree at DePaul University. Larry retired in 2000 after working 44 years at Dor-O-Matic of Chicago in various positions including Sales Manager.
Larry is the beloved husband of the late Jan nee Marinello; loving father of Cathy (Mark) Michalski, Steve (Julie) and the late Jim; proud grandfather of Joey Meyer; dear brother of Jim, Jerry (Sandy) Meyer and the late Mary Ann and Bonita; cherished son of the late Lawrence Meyer, Sr. and Henrietta (nee Ferrero), brother-in-law of Linda Ladau and Carol Marinello; many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday 4:00p.m. until time of memorial service 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. (630) 289-8054.
