Frank S Uber died suddenly, shortly after midnight, Saturday, August 27 in his home, 308 Johnson Court. Mr Uber had not complained of feeling ill when he retired about 10:30 for the night, according to his wife. He was a retired hotel owner at Grove City Pa. He was born in Grove City Pa May 6th and lived in Greenport for the past four years. Those surviving are his wife Jessie of Greenport; two sons, Leonard of Grove City Pa and Howard of Harrisburg, Pa; four brothers, Edward, Earl, Frederick and George, all of Grove City Pa; and one grandchild. Mr Uber was a member of the Lutheran Church of Grove City, a 32nd degree Mason, member of F A M No 603 of Grove City, Pa. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from his home. Burial followed in Green Hill Cemetery under direction of S B Horton & Co.
